Archaeology - Research

The UCD School of Archaeology offers MLitt or PhD programmes for students wishing to undertake a research programme.



The MLitt programme is a 2 year full-time (4 years part-time) programme. The MLitt is a thesis of approximately 50,000 words that describes the context, nature, methodology and outcomes of your research.



The PhD programme is a four year research degree, undertaken within a clearly structured programme including training, taught modules, a Research and Professional Development Plan and opportunities to develop teaching skills.
