Business Administration - MBA

Subjects taught
The programme has several key elements:
• Taught modules across two semesters (September-June), with weekly face-to-face classes, career and industry talks, supplemented by independent student learning and group projects. The coursework is intensive and fast-paced, requiring significant regular commitment and focus from the students.
• Industry Placement or Business Consulting Project (July December) that enable you to put in practice the skills you learned and enhance your future employability.
The taught modules of the programme cover all key areas relevant for developing your career is business and management, such as Career Planning & Development, Strategic Management, Leadership & Team Management, Human Resource Management, Actionable Insights Through Research, Data Analysis for Decision Making, Global Business, Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Finance, Introduction to Sustainability in Business, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Marketing in a Digital World and Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
Entry requirements
Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree (level 8) in any discipline, having achieved a minimum of a 2.2 honours (or equivalent) overall. International applicants must have a recognised primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level.
In exceptional circumstances consideration will be given to candidates who do not hold a primary degree, but who do have at least 10 years relevant work experience at least 3 of which must be in a management position. These applicants are managed through the Maynooth University Procedure for non-Standard Entrants and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
