Cultural Policy & Arts Management

We offer a 60 credit NFQ Level 9 Graduate Diploma in Cultural Policy and Arts Management. The Graduate Diploma involves a workload of 10 modules distributed across the Autumn and Spring trimesters. A pathway is provided whereby those who achieve a Graduate Diploma qualification can proceed to complete a 30 credit minor dissertation to fufill the requirements for the award of MA in Cultural and Arts Management. All elements, leading to the award of the MA Degree must be completed within a three-year timeframe.

You have the option to accumulate 60 credits towards a Graduate Diploma qualification by taking modules offered in the Autumn Trimester (September - December) and the Spring Trimester (January - May) delivered between the hours of 9 am - 5pm.

You then have the option to undertake a capstone 30 credit minor dissertation for the award of MA in Cultural Policy and Arts Management.

To complete the 60 credit Graduate Diploma, students will have to acquire 8-weeks of work experience with an appropriate organisation in the cultural field, nationally or internationally.
