Marketing
Our MSc in Marketing is a rigorous programme designed to prepare graduates for positions in marketing and brand management in Ireland and abroad. The stimulating syllabus challenges graduates not only with core marketing theory, but also nurtures the essential practical skills demanded by today’s industry.
This Master's programme is delivered at our dedicated Graduate Business School campus, UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, located in Blackrock, 4km from the main UCD Belfield Campus.
Overview
Marketing plays a central role in creating, communicating, delivering and sustaining value for organisations, customers and society. The rapid digital evolution, data overload and increasingly savvy consumers have made it ever more challenging for organisations to forecast market trends, understand consumers needs, build and maintain customer trust and engage with them in innovative ways in order to remain competitive. This environment necessitates modern day businesses to employ skilled marketing professionals and underpins the strong demand for our graduates.
Our MSc in Marketing is designed to equip our students with the capabilities to address the evolving needs of the marketing industry, with a strong emphasis on strategic decision-making, data-driven insights, and digital competence. Through our modules, students will gain proficiency in marketing principles, augmented by hands-on projects, case studies, analytical exercises, and real-world challenges posed by industry partners. This programme is both intellectually stimulating and pragmatically rewarding, preparing graduates for positions in marketing management in Ireland and abroad.
