Sustainable Supply Chain Management

This Master's programme is delivered at our dedicated Graduate Business School campus, UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, located in Blackrock, 4km from the main UCD Belfield Campus.

Overview

The MSc in Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SCM) unlocks sustainability, responsibility and ethics in operations, logistics and supply chain management. Business as usual is not sustainable. A new mindset and standards are required for sustainable transformation. Sustainability calls for ethical considerations concerning the impact of production and consumption decisions on the environment, society and future generations.

We create an environment for students, who value equity and justice over profit and growth, to learn responsible decision-making. We bring cutting-edge research and practitioners into teaching so that our students are enabled to create a better and more sustainable future. This innovative programme creatively develops the essential competencies and technical skills our students need so that they can overcome society’s grand challenges and achieve the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The MSc in Sustainable Supply Chain Management at UCD Smurfit School is ranked 14th globally in the QS 2024 Masters in Supply Chain Management Ranking. The programme is suitable for students who are passionate about making a difference in the world and is suitable for students from all academic backgrounds including engineering, humanities, social sciences, agriculture and food sciences.
