Working with Children with Transcultural Trauma - Waterford
Overview
This certificate will introduce the student to the most up to date evidence on transcultural trauma and supporting the mental health needs of minority groups.

This certificate programme can be taken as a stand alone certificate or as part of the PG Dip / MSc in Mental Health Practice in Children and Young People.
Entry requirements
Candidates must have a Level 8 qualification in a cognate discipline.
Duration
4 months full-time.
Delivery
Students will undertake an element of their learning online (80%), via primarily asynchronous (and some synchronous) modes. These will include lectures, online resources and workshops.

There is no license to practice involved in any of the awards, but each will enhance the student’s knowledge of the specific areas of children’s and young people’s mental health.
